2025 Regional Chair’s Classic Raises $268,000 for Education and Mental Health
The 2025 Regional Chair’s Classic in Memory of Roger Anderson was held on June 12 at Deer Creek Golf and Country Club in Ajax, drawing 184 participants, according to Durham College. The event brought together community leaders, sponsors, and golfers to raise money for students at Durham College and Ontario Tech University, as well as patient-focused programs at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, Durham College reported.
The tournament raised $268,000 this year, bringing the total funds raised since the event's start to over $8 million, based on figures provided by Durham College.
A cheque presentation took place during the event, with Durham College naming representatives from the organizing committee, beneficiary organizations, and Roger Anderson's family in attendance.
According to Durham College, the next Regional Chair’s Classic is scheduled for June 11, 2026.
