49-Year-Old Dies in Courtice Motorcycle Crash on Trulls Road

A 49-year-old man died following a motorcycle collision on Trulls Road, north of Bloor Street in Courtice, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS). Police said the collision occurred at about 5:00 p.m. when the southbound motorcycle left the roadway and entered a ditch.

DRPS reported that members of the Collision Investigation Unit responded to the scene and that the incident remains under investigation. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police said.

Police have not released the identity of the victim. According to DRPS, anyone with information about the incident may contact the Traffic Services Branch. No further details about possible causes or other involved parties were provided in the police release.
