Applications Open for Durham Region Community Safety and Well-Being Fund Grants

Not-for-profit organizations and community groups in Durham Region may apply for grants from the Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Fund, according to Durham Region. Applications for all three funding streams are being accepted from July 28 to August 22, 2025.

Applications are being accepted for projects under three categories: the Direct Intervention Fund, the Community Strengthening Fund, and the Intimate Partner Violence and Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response Fund. According to Durham Region, each project must apply to one of the three streams.

Durham Region stated that applicants must complete an online application form. More information about eligibility, the application process, and the grant program can be found at durham.ca/CSWB-Fund. The CSWB Fund Grant program is delivered by Durham Region in partnership with Public Safety Canada and is part of the Durham Region Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.
