Ashoka Masala Paneer Kathi Roll recalled due to undeclared sesame, CFIA says

Nutrifresh West Ltd. has recalled Ashoka brand Masala Paneer Kathi Roll (200 g) because the product contains undeclared sesame, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a public alert. The CFIA lists the recall date as Oct. 5, 2026, and says the product was distributed in Alberta and British Columbia.

The CFIA advised retailers and “hotels, restaurants and institutions” not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

In its alert, the CFIA lists the issue as “Food - Allergen - Sesame seeds.” The recalled item is Ashoka Masala Paneer Kathi Roll in a 200 g package with UPC 8 901552 017909.

The CFIA said the affected product codes are “Best before: 2027 MR 25” and “B.NO.: 25 C V.”

The agency classifies the recall as Class 2. The CFIA identification number for the alert is RA-82738, and the alert was last updated Oct. 7, 2026.
