Bordessa Hall Fifth Floor Construction and Building Closure Set for Summer 2025 at Ontario Tech

Construction on the fifth floor of Bordessa Hall at Ontario Tech University is scheduled from July 21 to August 26, 2025. During this time, access to the fifth floor will be limited, with construction signage posted. The university advised all individuals to use caution in the affected area, according to a statement published on July 14.

This construction period includes a full closure of Bordessa Hall from August 5 to August 17 to accommodate welding work on the building's roof structure. The university stated that no employee, student, research activity, or visitor activity should be scheduled in Bordessa Hall during the complete closure.

Ontario Tech University instructed faculty and staff to plan accordingly and make alternative arrangements for this period. The university provided this information in its official update published on July 14.
