Brookhouse Parkette Playground Upgrades Scheduled for August in Newcastle

Crews will begin upgrades to the playground at Brookhouse Parkette in Newcastle during the week of Monday, August 4, 2025, according to the Municipality of Clarington. The Municipality states that work will include a larger play area, a combination junior and senior play structure, new benches, and wood fibre surfacing.

The Municipality advises that parts of Brookhouse Parkette may be temporarily closed to the public during construction. The new playground is expected to reopen in the fall, according to municipal information.
