Brooklin residents may see low water pressure or no water during Zone 4 work Feb. 18
Parts of Brooklin in Whitby may experience low water pressure — and some properties may have no water — on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, while Durham Region carries out work on the Zone 4 water pressure system from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The notice matters for residents in the affected area because water pressure may remain lower than normal after the work ends at 5 p.m., Durham Region said.
Durham Region said the potential low-pressure area includes locations east and west of Thickson Road North between Columbus Road East and Carnwith Drive East, as well as the area between Bayberry Court and Nightingale Crescent.
The Region said the work is part of planned upgrades to the Zone 4 water pressure system.
