Canadians Invited to Name First Lunar Rover

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has announced that Canadians can participate in naming the country's first lunar rover. The voting period is open from November 20 to December 20, 2024. This initiative allows Canadians of all ages to select their preferred name from a list provided on the CSA's website.

The rover, currently under development by Canadensys, is part of an international effort to explore the Moon and search for water ice, which is crucial for future human space exploration. This marks the first time a Canadian rover will be deployed on the lunar surface.

For more information about the lunar rover and to cast a vote, individuals can visit the CSA's official website.
