Certain Campbell’s Frozen Soups Recalled for Possible Wood Contamination

Campbell Company of Canada has issued a recall for specific Campbell’s Verve brand and Campbell’s brand frozen soup products due to the potential presence of pieces of wood. The Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced the recall on June 28, 2024.

According to the CFIA, affected products include certain frozen soups sold under the Campbell’s Verve and Campbell’s brands. The agency advises that consumers should not eat the recalled products. In addition, retailers, distributors, and food service establishments, including hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals, and nursing homes, are instructed not to sell, serve, or use the recalled items.
