CFIA issues Class 2 recall of Aliments Martel Inc. sandwiches and wraps over Salmonella in Quebec

On Nov. 13, 2025, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced a Class 2 recall of various brands of sandwiches and wraps produced by Aliments Martel Inc. due to Salmonella. The advisory applies to products distributed in Quebec and instructs retailers not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected items.

The CFIA notice identifies Aliments Martel Inc. as the recalling firm and provides brand names, sizes, UPCs, internal codes and best-before dates to identify the products. The alert is a Notification (ID RA-78472), with a CFIA recall date of Nov. 3, 2025, and an original publication date of Nov. 13, 2025.
