CFIA issues Class 3 recall of Dion brand herbs over insects; national distribution

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a Class 3 recall notification, dated Sept. 17, 2025, for multiple Dion brand herb products due to the presence of insects, with distribution listed as national. The agency advises consumers and retailers not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected items.

CFIA categorizes the issue as Food - Extraneous Material and the alert type as a Notification. The recalling firm is 9030-5418 Quebec Inc. CFIA says affected products can be identified by matching the product name, size, UPC and codes listed below.

According to the CFIA notice, the following Dion brand products are affected:
