CFIA recall notice covers Kara Food “Poulet Tandoori” in Ontario, Quebec over undeclared mustard

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has posted a recall notification for Kara Food brand “Poulet Tandoori” (10 kg) distributed in Ontario and Quebec, citing undeclared mustard on the label.

The notice may affect hotels, restaurants and institutions that received the product, as well as customers who may be served it in those settings. The agency’s instructions are to stop using the product.

In the notification, the CFIA lists the issue as “Food - Allergen - Mustard” and says the product is being recalled due to undeclared mustard.

The CFIA advises: “Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.”

The recalled product is Kara Food “Poulet Tandoori” in a 10-kilogram size. The CFIA recall page lists no UPC for the product and says the recall applies to “all codes where mustard is not declared on the label.”

The recalling firm is Dubord & Rainville Inc., according to the CFIA.

The CFIA lists the recall class as Class 2 and the identification number as RA-82752. The recall date is Sept. 29, 2026. The recall notification was originally published on Oct. 9, 2026, and the CFIA page shows it was last updated and modified on Oct. 9, 2026.
