CFIA recall notice targets Charcuterie Perron white ham in Quebec over possible metal pieces

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) published a notice on Feb. 2, 2026, recalling Charcuterie Perron brand white ham sold in Quebec because it may contain pieces of metal. The CFIA recall date is Jan. 26, 2026.

The recall affects a packaged meat product sold at retail in Quebec, and the CFIA says people should check product details on the label to confirm whether they have the affected ham.

According to the CFIA, consumers should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The recalled product is Charcuterie Perron white ham in a 175 g package. The UPC is 8 83125 11025 6.

The CFIA said the affected packages have a best-before date of 2026/AL/10 and lot numbers 13452 or 32221.

The recalling firm is Charcuterie L. Fortin ltée, the CFIA said.

The recall is classified as Class 2 and is listed under identification number RA-81561, according to the CFIA.
