CFIA recalls certain Bianca Murgia, Longo’s Curato and Sapori Coratini cheeses in Ontario and Quebec over generic E. coli

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for certain Bianca Murgia, Longo’s Curato and Sapori Coratini cheese products sold in Ontario and Quebec because of non-pathogenic (generic) E. coli. People should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.

The notice applies to specific burrata, burratina and stracciatella products identified by brand, size, UPC and product codes. Shoppers may need to check their refrigerators and any recent purchases to see whether they have one of the recalled items.

The recalling firm is listed as Importation Mini Italia.

The CFIA classified the recall as Class 2 and assigned identification number RA-82493.
