People with a wheat allergy or gluten sensitivity — including those with celiac disease or other gluten-related disorders — should not eat the recalled products because a serious or life-threatening reaction is possible.

Harvest Meats is recalling the products. The CFIA said the recall was triggered by the company.

As of Jan. 30, 2026, no reactions had been reported in connection with consumption of the recalled products, according to the CFIA.

The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to the recall of other products. The agency said it is also verifying that industry is removing the recalled products from the marketplace.

The recall is classified as Class 1 and is listed under identification number RA-81551.
