CFIA recalls Richters dried lemongrass sold online in Ontario after stones found

Richters brand “Lemongrass - Dried Herb - Cut - Organic” is being recalled after stones were found in the product, according to a Canadian Food Inspection Agency notice dated Sept. 16, 2026. The CFIA said the affected product was distributed online in Ontario and is identified as Lot# 32078.

The notice applies to people and businesses in Ontario who may have purchased the lemongrass online. The CFIA’s instruction is not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The recalled product is listed as coming in variable sizes and having no UPC.

The recalling firm is Otto Richter and Sons Limited, operating as Richters Herbs.

The CFIA classified the recall as Class 3. The agency said the notice was originally published on Sept. 23, 2026, and lists the identification number as RA-82658.
