Chicken Sandwiches Recalled in Ontario and Quebec Due to Bone Fragments, Says CFIA

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a recall on June 18, 2025, for several C'est Prêt! and Circle K brand chicken sandwiches due to the potential presence of bone pieces. The recalled products were distributed in Ontario and Quebec.

The CFIA said the affected chicken sandwiches should not be used, sold, served, or distributed. The products are ready-to-eat chicken sandwiches intended for retail sale. The recall applies to the following C'est Prêt! products:

  • Chicken Panini
  • Family Size Chicken Panini
  • Trio Family Size Panini
  • Whole Wheat Chicken Sandwich
  • Chicken Sandwich
  • Family Size Chicken Sandwich
  • Chicken Vrac Pack
  • Trio Family Size Sandwich
  • Cranberry Chicken Wrap
  • Whole Wheat Bread Chicken Vrac Pack

The affected Circle K products are:

  • Chicken Salad Wedge
  • Buffalo Chicken Wrap
  • Chicken Club Sandwich
  • Trio Club Sandwich

Each recalled product is associated with specific sizes, UPC numbers, and codes, all listed in the CFIA’s official recall notice. Distribution Le Perco Inc. is identified as the recalling firm. The CFIA classified the recall as Class 3, under identification number RA-77609.
