Clarington Announces Burn Ban Due to Dry Conditions and Air Quality

Clarington Emergency and Fire Services issued a burn ban throughout Clarington on Monday, August 11, 2025, citing extremely dry conditions and poor air quality.

The ban includes all forms of outdoor burning. According to the official announcement, this covers recreational fires and burning on properties with active burn permits.

The burn ban will remain in effect until further notice, as stated by Clarington Emergency and Fire Services. Updates will be provided by the department as conditions change.
