Clarington Announces Road Resurfacing and Drainage Work Starting Next Week

The Municipality of Clarington has announced that road resurfacing and drainage improvement work will begin on several local roads next week. The projects are included in the municipality’s annual road maintenance program.

According to the municipal announcement, work is scheduled to start the week of June 10, 2024. The following roads are listed for resurfacing and drainage improvements:

  • Brown Road (Newtonville Road to Concession Road 4)

  • Osbourne Road (Mudd Street to Concession Road 4)

  • Middle Road (Taunton Road to Concession Road 5)

  • Concession Road 6 (Enfield Road to Townline Road)

The municipality advises that temporary lane restrictions and delays are expected during construction. All roads will stay open to local traffic and emergency vehicles. Residents on the affected roads are advised by the municipality to avoid parking on the streets while work is taking place.
