Clarington Library lists drop-in LEGO and board game sessions Aug. 18 to Sept. 3

Clarington Library, Museums & Archives will hold a series of drop-in LEGO Blast and Board Game Bonanza sessions at its Orono, Bowmanville, Courtice and Newcastle branches from Aug. 18 to Sept. 3, with all sessions running from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The schedule, posted Aug. 8, 2026, on the library’s website, includes sessions for children in grades JK to 6 as well as separate sessions open to all ages.

LEGO Blast is listed as a drop-in program for children in grades JK to 6. The library says participants can choose a challenge card and build with LEGO during the session.

LEGO Blast sessions are scheduled at:

  • Orono Library: Tuesday, Aug. 18, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
  • Bowmanville Library: Thursday, Aug. 20, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
  • Courtice Library: Wednesday, Aug. 26, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
  • Bowmanville Library: Monday, Aug. 31, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
  • Newcastle Library: Thursday, Sept. 3, 10:30–11:30 a.m.

Board Game Bonanza is listed as a drop-in program for all ages featuring board games and puzzles.

Board Game Bonanza sessions are scheduled at:

  • Bowmanville Library: Monday, Aug. 24, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
  • Courtice Library: Wednesday, Sept. 2, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
