Clarington Library, Museums & Archives schedules October–November 2025 events in Bowmanville, Newcastle, Courtice and at Sarah Jane Williams Museum

Clarington Library, Museums & Archives (CLMA) will host events in October and November 2025 at the Bowmanville, Newcastle and Courtice library branches and at the Sarah Jane Williams Museum, including a walking tour, a heritage fair, a Heritage Speaker Series talk, a Repair Café, a Winter Market and a Customer Appreciation Day.

The schedule outlines local-history programming and community services at multiple sites in Clarington through late October and November. Most events are on Saturdays.

Customer Appreciation Day will be held across all CLMA locations on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025.

The Newcastle Walking Tour begins at the Newcastle Library on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at 10 a.m.

The Heritage Fair is scheduled at the Bowmanville Library on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

As part of the Heritage Speaker Series, Judith Clapperton will speak at the Sarah Jane Williams Museum on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.

A Repair Café is set for the Courtice Library on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, from noon to 3 p.m.

The Winter Market will take place at the Bowmanville Library on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The walking tour and the heritage fair will feature partner organizations focused on local history. The Heritage Speaker Series features local historians. The Winter Market will include local vendors.
