Clarington library says online program calendar may be unavailable Aug. 11–12, 2026; Courtice Maker’s Space closed Aug. 12 afternoon

Clarington Library, Museums & Archives said its online program calendar may be unavailable Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, through Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026. The library also said the Maker’s Space at the Courtice Branch will be unavailable to the public on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The service notices may affect residents trying to check program listings online during the two-day period and anyone planning to use the Courtice Maker’s Space during the Wednesday afternoon closure.

The library said the expected online calendar disruption is tied to the launch of a new program calendar and resource booking system.

Separately, Clarington Library, Museums & Archives published a list of new “Book Club in a Bag” kit titles for fall 2026.
