Clarington Man Arrested for Suspected Cocaine Trafficking
A 38-year-old man was arrested in Clarington on July 3, 2025, by the Durham Regional Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit on suspicion of trafficking cocaine.
According to police, the arrest was the result of a drug investigation involving a male suspect believed to be selling drugs from his residence.
Officers executed a search warrant at the suspect's home under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Police reported seizing a quantity of cocaine and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking during the search. The suspect, identified by police as Dustin Campbell, was arrested outside his residence without incident.
Campbell was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I – Cocaine and was held for a bail hearing, police said. Authorities advised that these allegations have not been proven in court.
