Clarington Municipal Facility Hours and Closures for Victoria Day Weekend

Recreation facilities in Clarington will be open during regular hours on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, according to the Municipality of Clarington. Programs at these facilities will run as scheduled. The Clarington Animal Shelter will also be open for regular hours on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The Municipality has announced that several municipal facilities will change their hours for the Victoria Day holiday. This information may affect residents planning to visit municipal offices or use services during the long weekend.

On Monday, May 19, the Municipal Administrative Centre, Clarington Animal Shelter, and all recreation facilities will be closed, as stated by the Municipality. Service requests and complaints will still be attended to throughout the long weekend, according to the Municipality of Clarington. Municipal Law Enforcement Officers will be on duty over the holiday period. For urgent matters outside regular hours, the Municipality advises residents to call 905-433-1234.
