Clarington opens survey on programs for new South Bowmanville Recreation Centre until Nov. 2

Clarington is running an online survey from Oct. 8 to Nov. 2, 2025, to gather resident input on programs and services for the new South Bowmanville Recreation Centre, which is under construction with Phase 1 set to open next fall. The survey is available at www.clarington.net/SBRCSurvey.

Results will guide which activities are offered when the facility opens in South Bowmanville, allowing the municipality to plan programming across age groups and interests.

The questionnaire focuses on recreational programming and asks residents to indicate preferences in areas such as fitness, sports, aquatics and wellness.

Examples include group fitness classes, youth sports, seniors’ wellness and swimming.

Clarington posted the survey notice on Oct. 8, 2025.
