Clarington Outlines Facility Hours and Closures for Canada Day 2025
The Diane Hamre Recreation Complex and Orono Park Pool are scheduled to be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, according to the Municipality of Clarington. Public swim times are outlined in the municipality’s drop-in swimming schedule for Canada Day.
The municipality states that the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex Hall and washrooms will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. for Canada Day celebrations. Other parts of the facility will remain closed, and regular programs will be cancelled on July 1.
According to the municipality, the Municipal Administrative Centre, Clarington Animal Shelter, and all other recreation facilities in Clarington will be closed for the day.
Service requests and complaints will continue to be attended to, and Municipal Law Enforcement Officers will be on duty, as reported by the municipality. For urgent after-hours matters, the municipality advises residents to call 905-433-1234.
