Clarington posts June Recreation and Parks Month schedule; Orono Park Pool opens June 20–21

The Municipality of Clarington has posted its June Recreation and Parks Month activity schedule, including the opening weekend for Orono Park Pool on June 20 and 21 from noon to 4 p.m.

For residents planning summer activities, the schedule lists municipal recreation events running through June and includes the opening date for registration for summer recreation programs.

According to the municipality’s May 29 notice, the June schedule includes free and low-cost activities.

Examples listed in the notice include family fitness programs and a Seniors’ Month Barbecue and Open House.

Registration for summer recreation programs opens June 10, the municipality said.
