The Municipality of Clarington posted a list of current job openings and ongoing recruitment roles on its website on Jan. 9, 2026.

The posting includes both specific vacancies and positions the municipality says it recruits for on an ongoing basis. Clarington’s website directs applicants to apply through its online job application system.

The current jobs listed were Fire Prevention Inspector/Educator; Municipal Law Enforcement Officer – Part-Time; Human Resources Business Partner (Temporary up to nine months); Clerk II – Municipal Law Enforcement (Temporary up to seven months); Animal Care Attendant; Summer Student, Parks and Planning Development; Summer Student Labourer; Summer Student Fleet Technician; Summer Student Engineering Technician; and Help Desk Technician (Temporary up to six months).

The roles listed under ongoing recruitment were Part-Time Facility Operator 1 and Crossing Guards.

To apply for a job opportunity through the online system, applicants must sign up for an account, create a profile, upload a resume, and add additional information to their profile, the website states.
