Clarington Residents Asked to Share Input on Waterfront Strategy by July 28

Clarington residents have until July 28, 2025, to provide feedback on the municipality's proposed waterfront strategy for the Lake Ontario shoreline, according to a municipal announcement. Responses are being collected through an online survey, and those who participate will be entered into a draw for a $250 VISA gift card.

The municipality stated that the proposed plan is intended to guide use and planning along the waterfront for the next 30 years. According to the announcement, public feedback will help determine the vision and guiding principles for five specific areas: Courtice Waterfront Park, Bowmanville Waterfront, Newcastle Waterfront, Agricultural Heritage, and the Port Granby Nature Reserve.

The municipality has made the survey and further information available at www.clarington.net/WaterfrontStrategy.
