Clarington Schedules Middle Park Grand Opening for June 14 in Bowmanville
The Municipality of Clarington has announced it will hold the grand opening of Middle Park in Bowmanville on Saturday, June 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to information published on its website. The event is to take place at 3301 Middle Road, with the park's splash pad scheduled to be activated for the first time at approximately noon.
The opening is intended for residents in the Northglen community, as stated by the Municipality. The announcement emphasizes that the park is built for use by those in the local area and notes that parking at the site is limited.
Middle Park, described by the Municipality as a neighbourhood-sized park, includes a softball diamond, playground, benches, paved walkways, and a shade structure. The Municipality has highlighted the addition of a splash pad as a new feature.
According to the Municipality, planned activities during the event include face painting, games, the distribution of freezies, and draws for prizes. The Municipality encourages residents who live nearby to walk to the event due to limited parking.
