Clarington seeks feedback on 10-year event strategy and Bowmanville grounds
Clarington is seeking residents’ feedback through a survey to inform its 10-year Special Event Strategy and Action Plan for events across Clarington and an Operational Event Plan for the new outdoor Sports and Event Grounds at 801 Maple Grove Road in Bowmanville.
The municipality says the plans will address the types of events offered, opportunities for year-round programming, accessibility, event spaces and amenities. They will also cover community partnerships and how Clarington supports local events.
The survey asks residents what they like about events in Clarington, what could improve and what they would like to see in the future. Events in Clarington include downtown festivals, Canada Day celebrations, markets, tournaments, parades and performances.
