Clarington sets Oct. 21–22 ward forums in Bowmanville and Newcastle

Clarington will hold two in-person ward forums with the Mayor and Council on October 21 and 22, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wards 1 and 2 will meet in Bowmanville; Wards 3 and 4 will meet in Newcastle. Each session will include a presentation and time for residents to speak with Council members.

The meetings are intended to provide ward-specific updates from municipal elected officials in a public setting. The event is titled “Fall Forums with Mayor and Council.”

The October 21 session for Wards 1 and 2 will take place at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex, 2440 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Bowmanville.

The October 22 session for Wards 3 and 4 will be held at the Diane Hamre Recreation Complex, 780 Rudell Rd, Newcastle.

Updates will be delivered by the Mayor and each ward’s Local and Regional Councillors. After the presentation, Council members will be available to speak with attendees. Both evenings are scheduled for one hour.
