Concession Road 7 between Solina and Holt in Clarington to close Nov. 6, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., for culvert replacement

Concession Road 7 between Solina Road and Holt Road in Clarington is expected to close on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a culvert replacement.

The closure will halt through traffic on that stretch during the work window. The municipality advised drivers to use alternative local roads and published a map identifying the closure points.

Soft closures will be in place at Concession Road 7 and Solina Road and at Concession Road 7 and Holt Road. A hard road closure will be set 400 metres east of Solina Road.

Under the municipality’s definitions, a hard road closure blocks the entire roadway, preventing motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles from passing. A soft road closure allows local traffic to reach homes, businesses, or properties up to the point of the hard closure.

Local access will be available from both Solina Road and Holt Road up to the hard-closure point 400 metres east of Solina Road.
