Construction Underway for Playground and Accessibility Upgrades at Rosswell Park in Courtice

Construction has started at Rosswell Park in Courtice to upgrade the playground, splash pad, and multi-sport court, according to the Municipality of Clarington. The planned improvements include new playground equipment, a redesigned splash pad with additional spray features, and refurbishment of the existing multi-sport court.

The Municipality stated that accessibility enhancements will be part of the project. These include an accessible swing, new benches, newly paved pathways, a ramp, and wood fibre safety surfacing.

Construction is scheduled to be completed by October 17, 2025. The Municipality noted that portions of Rosswell Park may be temporarily closed to the public during construction. The work at Rosswell Park is among several projects described by the Municipality to improve recreational spaces in Clarington.
