Discounted Rain Barrels Offered to Local Residents Until June 16

Discounted rain barrels are available until June 16, 2025, for residents of the Township of Hamilton, Town of Cobourg, Municipality of Port Hope, and Municipality of Clarington, according to the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA).

This sale is open to households within the GRCA’s jurisdiction and limited to four barrels per household. The GRCA states that the listed prices already include a $25 discount for each barrel, with direct delivery to purchasers’ addresses for orders placed before the deadline.

According to the GRCA, the rain barrel sale is made possible with support from the Township of Hamilton Environment and Climate Advisory Committee, Lakefront Utility Services Inc., the Municipality of Port Hope, and the Municipality of Clarington.

The GRCA’s announcement states that discounted rain barrels must be ordered online at rainbarrel.ca/Ganaraska before June 16, 2025. Additional information about this and other conservation initiatives can be found on the GRCA’s website.
