DRPS Seeks Two Suspects Following Reported Vehicle Robbery in Pickering

According to the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), investigators are seeking two suspects after a reported robbery in Pickering on Wednesday evening. DRPS stated that officers responded to an incident near Finch Avenue and Liverpool Road at approximately 8:38 p.m. on May 15.

Police reported that a female victim was approached by two male suspects, one of whom was armed with a handgun, who demanded the keys to her vehicle. The suspects then took the victim’s white 2018 Lexus RX350 and left the scene, heading west on Finch Avenue. DRPS stated that the victim was not physically injured.

Descriptions provided by DRPS indicate both suspects are Black males, estimated to be 18 to 20 years old. One suspect was described as wearing a black jacket, black mask, black pants, and white shoes, while the other was described as wearing a black jacket, black mask, black pants, and black shoes.

DRPS has asked for anyone with information regarding the incident to contact investigators.
