DRT Advises Trip Planner and Transit App Showing Inaccurate Information for September 2, 2025 and Later

Durham Region Transit (DRT) has advised that the trip planner on its website and the Transit App are not providing accurate bus times, routes, or planning details for trips scheduled on or after September 2, 2025.

DRT stated that until further notice, riders should use alternative trip planning tools, such as Google Maps, when planning travel in the region for dates on or after September 2, 2025. Accurate information through DRT's online trip planner and the Transit App will remain unavailable until the technical issue is resolved.

According to DRT, technicians are working to address the problem. No estimated timeline for restoration of accurate data was provided. The advisory applies specifically to the affected digital trip planning tools and does not reference any changes to regular bus service operations.
