DRT Announces Bus Detours on Windfields Farm Drive Starting June 6

Durham Region Transit (DRT) has announced detours for routes 409, 419, 901, and N2 from Friday, June 6, 2025, to Wednesday, June 18, 2025, due to a road closure on Windfields Farm Drive between Thoroughbred Street and Simcoe Street.

According to DRT, routes 409 and 419 will detour using Britannia Avenue and Kentucky Derby Way during this period. Pulse 901 and route N2 will continue service to and from Windfields Farm Drive and Bridle Road.

DRT states that all stops on Windfields Farm Drive between Thoroughbred Street and Simcoe Street will not be available while the closure is in effect. A temporary stop has been set up on westbound Windfields Farm Drive, west of Kentucky Derby Way, according to DRT.

DRT has published a detour map on its website with further details about the changes.
