DRT closes Ajax customer service desk for Feb. 9; lost and found collection unavailable
Durham Region Transit (DRT) closed its Customer Service Desk at 110 Westney Road South in Ajax on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, meaning in-person inquiries, fare media sales and lost and found collection were not available that day.
The closure matters for riders who rely on the front desk for help with fares, passes and retrieving lost items, even as bus service continued to run normally.
DRT said customers could still get support online through DurhamRegionTransit.com or the Transit App during the closure.
DRT also said customer support was available by phone through 311 within Durham Region.
PRESTO purchases remained available online and at other in-person locations, according to DRT.
DRT said there were no other impacts to transit services or operations.
