DRT closes eastbound stop #2240 at 113 Kingston Road; temporary stop placed west of traffic light
Stop #2240 (eastbound) at 113 Kingston Road has been closed since Oct. 9, 2025, according to a Durham Region Transit notice. A temporary stop is in place west of the traffic light, aligned with the pedestrian crossing.
The closure matters for riders who normally board eastbound buses at stop #2240, because service is now picking up at the temporary stop while the closure continues.
Durham Region Transit said the stop will remain closed until further notice.
Routes PULSE 900, 920 and N1 use the stop, the notice said.
The notice did not give a reason for the closure.
