DRT closes Kingston Road westbound stop at Wicks Drive; temporary stop to be placed west of current location

Durham Region Transit has closed bus stop #1590, Kingston Road Westbound at Wicks Drive, effective Nov. 17, 2025, until further notice. A temporary stop will be placed west of the current stop, near the entrance of the plaza, and routes PULSE 900 and N1 are affected.

The closure affects riders using the westbound stop at Kingston Road and Wicks Drive. DRT’s notice includes a temporary stop location to replace the closed stop while the change is in effect.

In its notice, DRT said the temporary stop will be located west of stop #1590, near the plaza entrance.

DRT did not provide a reason for the stop closure or an expected reopening date.

The stop-closure notice was posted on DRT’s website on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.
