DRT detours Route 905C in Port Perry Nov. 26–Dec. 10 for King Street closure
Durham Region Transit will detour Route 905C in Port Perry from 07:00 on Nov. 26 to 19:00 on Dec. 10, 2025, due to a road closure on King Street between Old Simcoe Road and Simcoe Street. During the detour, buses will operate via Victoria Street and Old Simcoe Road.
The change affects only Route 905C and will temporarily suspend service at several regular stops. Temporary stops will be added on Victoria Street to serve riders along the detour.
All stops on Union Avenue between Victoria Street and King Street will be closed during construction. All stops on King Street between Union Avenue and Old Simcoe Road will be closed. All stops on Old Simcoe Road between King Street and Victoria Street will also be closed.
Temporary stops along the detour will be located at Victoria Street westbound at Union Avenue; Victoria Street westbound at Old Simcoe Road; and Victoria Street eastbound at Union Avenue.
Service on King Street and Union Avenue within those segments will not be available for the duration of the closure.
