DRT Eastbound Bus Routes 920 and 921 Detoured in Scarborough Until May 30
Eastbound trips on Durham Region Transit Routes 920 and 921 in Scarborough are being detoured effective immediately until Friday, May 30, 2025, according to Durham Region Transit (DRT).
The detour is in place due to subway construction in the Scarborough Centre Station area, affecting the routing of these two eastbound bus lines.
DRT states that during this period, eastbound buses on Routes 920 and 921 will travel from Scarborough Centre Station via Triton Road, McCowan Road, Bushby Drive, Grangeway Avenue, and Progress Avenue.
Two stops will be closed as a result of this detour:
- Stop #93999 – McCowan Road northbound at Progress Avenue
- Stop #94242 – Triton Road eastbound at McCowan Road
Passengers are advised by DRT to use temporary stops located northbound on Grangeway Avenue, south of Progress Avenue. The announced detour applies only to eastbound trips on Routes 920 and 921 and is scheduled to be in effect until Friday, May 30, 2025.
