DRT routes 902, 502 and 505 to detour overnight in downtown Bowmanville Jan. 28–29

Durham Region Transit (DRT) routes 902, 502 and 505 will detour through downtown Bowmanville overnight from 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, to 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, because of snow removal on King Street, according to a DRT notice.

The detours affect late-night and early-morning trips through the downtown core, with buses using alternate streets and temporary stops added during the work window.

For Route 902, DRT said eastbound buses will travel via Scugog Street, Church Street and Liberty Street. Westbound buses will travel via Ontario Street, Queen Street and Scugog Street.

On Route 502, buses in both directions will travel via Scugog Street and King Street, DRT said.

For Route 505, DRT said eastbound buses will travel via Church Street and Liberty Street. Westbound buses will travel via Liberty Street, Wellington Street and Scugog Street.

DRT said temporary stops will be located on Scugog Street (southbound) and on Liberty Street (southbound), north of King Street.
