DRT says Triton Road eastbound stop at McCowan Road closed since Jan. 5, 2025

Durham Region Transit says bus stop #94242 (Triton Road eastbound at McCowan Road) has been closed since Jan. 5, 2025, and the agency’s notice describes the stop as “permanently closed.” The notice says routes 920 and 921 are affected, and riders can use stop #93998 at Scarborough Centre Station.

The change matters for local riders who use those two routes, because they will need to board at the alternate stop listed in the notice.

Durham Region Transit posted the closure notice on Jan. 16, 2026. It lists Jan. 5, 2025 as the closure date and includes the wording “until further notice.”

DRT did not give a reason for the closure.
