Durham College Marks Record Graduation Numbers for 2025
Durham College reported that 4,858 students graduated during convocation ceremonies held in June 2025, making it the largest graduating class since the college opened in 1967. According to the college, eight ceremonies were held over four days.
The college stated that the Class of 2025 includes the first graduates from the Clinical Bioinformatics, Recreation Therapy, and Honours Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence programs. This information marks a milestone in program development and diversification at the institution.
Durham College said the five programs with the highest number of graduates were Data Analytics for Business Decision Making, Practical Nursing, Project Management, Electrician – Construction and Maintenance, and Cloud Computing. The college reported that 30 students received scholarships and awards in 2025. Among these, the college noted that Brooke Wheeler received the first Durham College Outstanding Indigenous Graduate Award.
The college also recognized five graduates with Alumni of Distinction awards. According to Durham College, more than 80 volunteers and employees supported the convocation ceremonies through logistics and technical operations.
Since the college’s founding in 1967, Durham College states that more than 120,000 individuals have graduated from the institution, with alumni located worldwide.
