Durham Police Now Investigating Pickering Death as Homicide

Durham Region Police Service (DRPS) has announced that a suspicious death in Pickering is now being investigated as a homicide. According to a police statement, officers were called to a residence in the area of Dixie Road and Finch Avenue on Saturday, June 8, for a well-being check. Police say a deceased person was found at that location.

DRPS has not released the identity of the deceased. Investigators report that no arrests have been made and that their investigation is ongoing.
