Durham Police Seek Public Assistance to Identify Woman Linked to Ajax Vehicle Theft

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is asking for the public’s help to identify a woman as part of an ongoing investigation into a vehicle theft in Ajax and Toronto.

According to DRPS, officers from West Division responded to a report of a stolen black BMW from a home near Rossland Road East and Audley Road in Ajax on February 7, 2025, at around 4:15 a.m. The vehicle was taken before police arrived and has since been recovered.

Police state that further investigation showed a female passenger was observed inside the stolen BMW in Toronto on February 22, 2025. Investigators are seeking to identify and speak with this woman in connection with the case.

DRPS describes the woman as Black, with a light complexion and long black hair. Photos of the individual are available on the DRPS website at www.drps.ca.
