Durham Police Seek Public Help After Theft at Bowmanville Pharmacy
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is seeking public assistance to identify two individuals following a theft at the Shoppers Drug Mart on 570 Longworth Avenue in Bowmanville. According to DRPS, the incident occurred at approximately 11:50 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Police have released descriptions of the suspects and are requesting help from anyone who may have information about the incident.
DRPS reports that a male and a female suspect entered the store, concealed merchandise, and left the area before police arrived. The first suspect is described by police as a male, brown with a light complexion, approximately 5'10" tall, with black hair and a black beard. He was wearing a red jacket, black pants, and black and white shoes. The second suspect is described as a female, white, with long brown or blonde hair, wearing a black jacket, black pants with a white stripe, and carrying a black bag.

DRPS asks anyone with information about this incident to contact Detective Constable Salesman of the East Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1617. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca. According to DRPS, tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
