Durham Region Announces Eastbound Winchester Road Lane Closure in Whitby June 17–21

The Regional Municipality of Durham has advised that the eastbound lane of Winchester Road (Regional Road 3) in Whitby will be closed to traffic between Baldwin Street (Highway 12) and the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) overpass.

According to the Region, the closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 17 and is expected to continue until Friday, June 21. The municipality stated that this closure will allow for necessary road work in the area.

Motorists traveling eastbound are advised by the Regional Municipality of Durham to expect delays and to plan for extra travel time. The Region noted that these dates and times are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
